Oh my gosh, Vanquish is epic! The speed of the action was unlike any other shooter I've played before, and the levels and bosses were top-notch!
You did well of this scene of the Aftermath of the Argus Robot Boss Battle. Though which Argus is this one exactly? The one you fight as the first Boss, the one you fight as a pair, or the one that Sam crashes a hover freight car into after skillfully dodging a Macross Missile Massacre from it?
It's just so unfortunate that it ended in a cliffhanger and has yet to get a sequel, with no announcements of one in development. Mikami said that he won't be directing any more games, and the game didn't sell very well, which I find surprising. Sega thought Alien Isolation's sales were disappointing even thought it sold like 2 million copies, so you can imagine what they think of this game.
Vanquish is so criminally underrated, it makes me even more disappointed that the gaming industry has been flooded with the same stuff for so long, and when a game of this epicness like this drops, its avoided entirely. P+ has to be one of the most underappreciated companies. Its a straight blessing that they even exist. JUST LOOK AT THIS FOR GOD'S SAKE!!!
Similar things have happened to other super awesome games that got forgotten, like TimeSplitters for one. Though thankfully I've heard that the fans are doing a sequel, with the help of the original devs, so that's a plus there.
